Coverage & mixing basics
- An EIFS wall is built in layers: substrate, water-resistive barrier (drainage systems), adhesive, EPS board, base coat with embedded mesh, then finish. Estimate each layer by wall area.
- EPS board is sold by thickness and sheet; 1" is the common minimum, more where the energy code or the drawings call for it. Count sheets from wall area plus cuts at openings and returns.
- Standard mesh goes on every square foot of board; heavy or impact mesh is added at ground level and other high-impact areas. Order both from the same wall area.
- Keep the whole assembly from one manufacturer's system where the spec asks for it — mixing base coats and finishes across systems can void the warranty.

Do you stock complete EIFS systems?+
Yes. Board, adhesive, base coat, mesh, finish and trims are in stock in Suwanee. Tell us the system you are installing and we pull the matching components.
What EPS board thicknesses do you carry?+
Common thicknesses are on the shelf and other sizes can be sourced. Bring the drawings or the energy-code requirement and we confirm what you need.
Do you carry impact mesh for ground level?+
Yes. Standard and heavier reinforcing mesh are both stocked, so the lower wall and high-traffic areas can be reinforced as the spec requires.
Can I get an EIFS quote for a whole building?+
Yes. Send us the wall area, the system and the finish, and we quote the full assembly with delivery to the jobsite.
