Coverage & mixing basics
- Estimate a wall by face area: length × exposed height gives square feet, and each block style covers a fixed face area. Add a course below grade and caps along the top.
- Walls above about 4 ft, or with a slope or load behind them, generally need engineering and geogrid. Bring the height and the site conditions before you order.
- Pavers are estimated by area plus a waste factor for cuts; borders and patterns raise the waste. Order from one lot for a consistent color.
- Base and bedding — compacted aggregate and sand — are not on our shelf, but we can source them by the load with the block order.
